We are a vertically integrated metallic materials science company
We guarantee clients a high quality, innovative product choice from conflict free and child-labour free sources for minor metals, rare earths, and superalloys.
Our expertise is also available to clients for geological services, mineral processing, metallurgical research, laboratory analyses, and bespoke product or alloy production.
PRG pioneers new technologies to meet the current and future needs of the constantly evolving electronics, automotive, additive manufacturing, and aerospace industries.
The demand for supply chain security of rare metals and superalloys is becoming an increasingly important challenge to the high tech manufacturing economy and PRG is the perfect partner to insulate your manufacturing needs from supply chain risk with fully accredited, high quality, and high performance metals and alloys.
High purity refined metal products in the form of ingots, rods, bar, sheet, and powders are available in a selection of grades, (up to 99.99%), oxides and ceramics.
Tantalum is a unique metal used in many specialist applications. Its resistivity to chemicals and its high melting point make it a desirable choice for chemical plant equipment and a host of high-tech manufacturing applications. Its electrical properties make it a top choice for the production of high performance capacitors in retail electronics, aerospace, and automotive manufacturing.
Other uses include as an ingredient in specialist alloys for such things as turbine blades and in medical implants due to it being exceptionally inert in biological environments.
Titanium is another unique metal which has some excellent properties for manufacturers and engineers to harness.
Being as strong as steel but only 60% of the weight it has a wide variety of uses from aerospace to golf clubs.
Its high temperature resistance also makes it a premium choice for spacecraft materials, crucibles, and a wide range of industrial plant equipment.
Titanium is also highly resistant to corrosion so is often used in marine applications and desalination processes.
In its oxide form, and by far the biggest use of titanium, it is use as a pigment in paints, plastics and papers.
Being biologically inert it is also used in medical implants and as an ingredient in sunscreen to block UV light whilst remaining transparent on the skin.
The vast majority of niobium is utilised in stainless steel alloys where just small amounts substantially improve the material strength, particularly in low temperature applications. It also has superconducting properties and is used in superconducting magnets for particle accelerators, MRI scanners and NMR equipment.
In its oxide form niobium is added to glass to allow lenses to be manufactured much thinner without losing the refractive properties.
Niobium is also used in the aerospace industry for turbine blade alloys, amongst other things, as well as the electronics industry for capacitors although much less commonly than tantalum.
Our commitment to sustainability also means that some of our products are recovered from recycled materials or environmental rehabilitation programmes often from old mine sites where we have contributed to the improvement in soil conditions and local water quality. If you would like to know more about supply chain sustainability please get in touch with us.
We evolved from our beginnings as a metallurgical and mineral processing company and have retained our expertise in these activities which we now provide to our clients worldwide.
As a vertically integrated company, we also operate a wholly owned subsidiary which provides geological and geotechnical services. From its base in Slovenia we serve clients around the world.
Slovenia’s natural beauty and cultural passion for the outdoors make it the ideal birthplace for a geotechnical company which plays arguably the most significant role in environmental protection and sustainable resource management for any mining, infrastructure, or construction project.
Having worked across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East for a range of world renown clients and government institutions, our references will give you peace of mind for exploration, engineering, mineral processing, construction, and environmental services.
We have a highly experienced team of professionals for mineral processing and metal refining design and test work.

Sustainable management of the planets resources and the communities in which these resources are produced is engrained within our corporate culture.
Supply chain security is as much about caring for communities and our environment as it is innovation and technology.
Across all of our operations we uphold our sustainability policies and consider this an evolving component of daily life where we are mandated to use our expertise to not just tick the box but to leave a trail of improvement wherever we operate.

Trade in conflict minerals is a persistent problem in certain African states where mineral wealth has been proven to perpetuate conflict and fuel human rights atrocities.
Columbite-tantalite (coltan), cassiterite, wolframite and gold, or their derivatives, including tantalum, tin, and tungsten, originating from conflict afflicted areas can make their way into the supply chains of the products used around the world. It is the policy of PRG Plc and its subsidiaries, referred to henceforth as "PRG" to avoid supplying, purchasing, or processing, any minerals that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups from conflict-affected regions.
